Description
The patented compact BYRNA SDXL is a less-lethal launcher with ergonomic design resembling that of semi-automatic handgun. The body is made from the highest quality glass-reinforced polymers and the rubber over-mold grip improves retention; and internals feature aircraft grade aluminium precision parts. The Byrna SDXL uses interchangeable 5 round magazines to feed projectiles into the launcher.
The patented first trigger pull piercing mechanism allows the gas cylinder to sit remain unpierced, yet ready to use. In fire mode, at the 1st trigger pull, the CO2 is punctured and the first projectile is fired simultaneously.
The BYRNA SDXL uses the BYRNA SD platform, but adapted to ise a 12g CO2 Cylinder. The 12g cylinder allows for an increase up to 35 projectiles per cylinder, instead of 15 of the 8g cylinder.
Effective range : 12m on a 15cm target and 20m on a 45cm target
