Description
The KATANA Red is a traditional Japanese sword with a curved, single-edged blade and circular or squared guard. It was historically used by samurai in feudal Japan, worn with the edge facing upward. The blade is forged from hand-folded carbon steel, with the damascus steel folded 12 times to ensure durability and sharpness.
The blade is fluted to reduce weight. The tsuka is made of wood, lined with real stingray skin, and wrapped in black silk ribbon for a comfortable grip.
The handle features two mekugis, or bamboo dowels, for added stability. This katana can be completely dismantled and is sharpened, making it ideal for collectors and enthusiasts of traditional Japanese swords.
