Overview
The Aimpoint Micro H-2 2 MOA without mount is a second-generation compact reflex red dot sight. It is supplied without a mounting solution, allowing you to select a Micro-compatible mount that matches your firearm, rail system, and desired sight height.
The Micro H-2 combines a compact footprint, reinforced construction, fast dot acquisition, and long battery life. It suits hunters, sport shooters, and users looking for a versatile optic that can be configured with their preferred mounting solution.
2 MOA Red Dot
The 2 MOA red dot provides an effective balance between practical precision and fast target acquisition. It is suitable for both rapid shooting and applications requiring finer aiming.
The sight operates at 1x, with no magnification and unlimited eye relief. It is operationally parallax-free, allowing intuitive both-eyes-open use without requiring precise eye centering behind the optic.
Mount Not Included
This version is supplied without a mount. It allows you to select a mounting solution compatible with the Micro interface based on firearm type, rail system, preferred ergonomics, and required optical-axis height.
Before installation, verify mount compatibility, follow the mount manufacturer’s specified torque settings, and confirm the optic’s zero after every installation or removal.
Optics and Protection
The Micro H-2 incorporates improved lenses and advanced optical coatings designed to optimize light transmission, red-dot shape, and dot clarity. Average light transmission is 60% from 420 to 700 nm.
Transparent flip-up lens covers are included. They help protect the lenses from dust and splashes while retaining usable visibility with the covers closed.
Battery Life and Settings
The sight is powered by one CR2032 3 V lithium battery and delivers up to 50,000 hours, or more than five years, of continuous operation on a single battery.
A rotary switch selects 12 intensity settings for daylight and low-light use. This model is not compatible with night vision devices.
Durability and Environment
The Micro H-2 uses a redesigned, reinforced housing engineered for outdoor and demanding applications. It is submersible to 5 m / 15 ft, making it suitable for exposure to rain, moisture, and typical field conditions.
Its mount-free format provides substantial configuration freedom, whether for a hunting rifle, sport-shooting firearm, backup sight, or a platform requiring a specific mounting height.
