The Magpul PMAG 30 AR 300 B GEN M3 is a purpose-built magazine developed exclusively for AR15, M4, and M16 pattern rifles chambered in .300 AAC Blackout. Unlike standard 5.56 NATO magazines commonly used with this cartridge, this PMAG features patented internal geometry specifically engineered to feed the full spectrum of .300 BLK projectile weights and profiles — from lightweight supersonic loads to heavy subsonic rounds exceeding 200 grains.

The PMAG 30 AR 300 B GEN M3 is compatible with all STANAG 4179-compliant platforms chambered in .300 Blackout: AR15, M4, M16, FN SCAR 16S, IWI Tavor X95, and derivatives. It is purpose-built for .300 AAC Blackout only — it must not be used in a 5.56 NATO or .223 Remington chamber.
