The Honsanmai Black JAWS is a traditionally forged Japanese katana designed for durability, sharpness and visual refinement. Its 12-fold folded carbon steel blade provides a damascus-like structure, improved density and elegant patterning. Each sword is manually polished, treated and sharpened to achieve a clean, functional edge.
Forged in folded carbon steel (12 layers), the blade is polished and refined manually. The tsuka is crafted from wood, wrapped in samegawa and finished with a traditional black cotton tsukamaki. Two bamboo mekugi secure the tang while allowing complete disassembly.
